Chris Graham is a London-based composer for visual media, writing music for film, animation, and screen projects. He holds a Master’s degree in Composition of Music for Film and Television from the University of Bristol and a First Class Bachelor of Music degree from Cardiff University. A Grade 8 pianist and alto saxophonist, Chris combines strong musical craft with a practical understanding of writing music for picture. Alongside his work as a composer, he works at Oxford University Press, gaining valuable insight into music for media from a professional and industry-facing perspective.
I have written the music for two plays (which were performed at Theatr Clwyd, among other venues), as well as working with student animators and filmmakers throughout my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. During my master's course, for example, I wrote music for film, animation, games, library music, and also worked on sound design and post-production.
As well as my film projects, I have written classical (or 'art') music throughout my university degrees. I also have plenty of live performance experience, having given numerous solo piano and saxophone recitals, as well as accompanying other soloists.
